Your Roborock,
in Apple Home.
A Homebridge plugin that puts your Roborock robot vacuums in the Home app, over HomeKit or Matter. Start a clean with Siri or an automation, and keep control on your home network even when the Roborock cloud is down.
Free and open source. Works with Homebridge 1.6 or later; Matter needs Homebridge 2.
Try it. Pick rooms, or none for the whole home. Room cleaning needs Matter and iOS 18.4 or later.
Keeps working when the cloud doesn't
The Roborock cloud is only needed to sign in and to read your device list. Commands go straight to the vacuum over your home network, and if the cloud is unreachable when Homebridge starts, the plugin starts from its saved device list. Cloud features such as scenes come back by themselves once the cloud answers.

The plugin needs one successful online start to save the device list. A vacuum shared with you from another Roborock account can only be controlled through the cloud.
What you get in the Home app
Each vacuum shows up with the controls and readings it actually has.
Start, stop and send home
Over HomeKit the vacuum is a fan-style tile: turn it on to start cleaning, off to stop and return to the dock. Siri, scenes and automations work too.
Battery, charging and errors
Battery level, charging state and a low-battery warning. A vacuum that reports an error or goes offline is flagged, and an error that stays after you fixed its cause can be cleared from the plugin settings.
Your Roborock scenes
Scenes you made in the Roborock app become switches, so a full routine runs with one tap or from an automation.
Dock mop wash
On docks that wash the mop, a switch starts or stops a wash and turns on whenever the dock is washing, however it started.
Filter and brushes
Over HomeKit, the remaining life of the filter, main brush and side brush, with a reminder when one is nearly worn out.
Current room to MQTT
Optionally publishes the room being cleaned to your MQTT broker, so lights or other automations can follow the vacuum.
Matter, for real vacuum controls Beta
Choose Matter for a vacuum and Apple Home shows it as a robot vacuum instead of a fan: pick the rooms to clean, switch between vacuum, mop or both, and send it back to the dock. It works with Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings as well.
Apple Home's support for Matter vacuums is still young. Expect an uncertified-accessory warning while pairing and the odd hiccup after iOS updates. For the steadiest setup, stay on HomeKit.
Choose per vacuum
Load your devices in the plugin settings and pick one of three for each vacuum.
HomeKit (HAP)
The default. The steady, familiar fan-style tile.
Matter (Beta)
Native vacuum controls and room cleaning. Needs Homebridge 2 with Matter turned on; room cleaning needs iOS 18.4 or later.
Skip
Keeps a vacuum out of Apple Home, for example one shared from another home.
Switching a vacuum to another protocol re-creates its accessory, so give it its room and automations again afterwards.
Works with the vacuums in your Roborock app
Sign in with the account you use in the Roborock app and the plugin finds your vacuums by itself. These models are known to work, and most other vacuums in the Roborock app do too.

Only in Xiaomi Home?
The plugin sees the vacuums on your Roborock account. A vacuum that is set up only in the Xiaomi Home app is not on that account, so it won't show up.

Keep it free
The plugin has no ads and no paid version. If it saves you a few chores, a boba or a small tip helps me keep up with new Roborock models and firmware.
