Your Panasonic,
in Apple Home.

A Homebridge plugin that puts the appliances in your Panasonic Smart App in the Home app: air conditioners, dehumidifiers, air purifiers, heat exchangers and smart switches, and your washer and dryer tell you when they're done. It talks to them directly on your home network when it can, and through Panasonic's cloud when it can't.

Free and open source. For devices in the Panasonic Smart App (Taiwan).

Local first, with the cloud as a backup

Panasonic's CZ-T006 and CZ-T007 Wi-Fi modules also answer on your home network. The plugin finds them by itself and sends status reads and commands straight to them, which is quicker and never runs into the cloud's rate limit.

When a module can't be reached

The plugin sends that request through the Panasonic Smart App cloud instead, so the device keeps working. Devices are always discovered through your account, and a module that moves to a new address is found again automatically.

What you get in the Home app

Each device shows up as the kind of accessory it is, with the controls it actually has.

  • Air conditioner

    • Power, and Cool, Heat or Auto
    • Target temperature, 16 to 30 °C
    • Room temperature
  • Dehumidifier

    • Power and target humidity, 40 to 70%
    • Current humidity and fan speed
    • A switch for each of the unit's own modes, such as laundry drying
    • Shows when the water tank is full
    • Switches for nanoe and the button beep
  • Air purifier

    • Power and fan speed
    • Air quality with the PM2.5 reading
    • A switch for nanoe
  • Heat exchanger (ERV)

    • Power and fan speed, with Auto on models that have it
    • A switch for each ventilation mode
    • Indoor and outdoor temperature, on models that report them
  • Smart switch

    • One switch per circuit, on one- to three-gang models
    • Show a circuit as a light or a fan with the Home app's Display As
    • Circuits are switched through Panasonic's cloud
  • Washer and dryer

    • A Done sensor that notifies you when a cycle finishes
    • A Running sensor for automations
    • Notifications only: as Panasonic's safety rules require, cycles are started on the machine

All of them work with Siri, scenes and automations, like any other Home accessory.

Choose what shows up in HomeKit

The plugin's settings screen lists every device on your Smart App account with its model and live status. Each supported device has an In HomeKit switch: turn it off and the device leaves the Home app after the next restart.

Devices you add to your account later are included automatically. Refrigerators and other appliances the plugin can't handle yet are marked as not supported.

Set it up in a few minutes

  1. Install the plugin

In the Homebridge UI, open Plugins, search for Panasonic Smart App and install it.

  2. Sign in

Open the plugin settings, enter the email and password of your Panasonic Smart App account and save.

  3. Choose devices and restart

Your devices appear with their live status. Switch off any you'd rather keep out of HomeKit, then restart Homebridge.

Works with Homebridge 1.6 or later, including Homebridge 2, on Node.js 18 or later. Full configuration reference

Good to know

Made for the Taiwan Smart App
The plugin uses Panasonic's Smart App service in Taiwan. Set your devices up in that app first.
A second account works best
Using one account on your phone and in Homebridge at the same time can sign one of them out. Create an account for Homebridge and share your devices with it from your main account.
Signs in once
The session is saved in Homebridge's storage and reused, so a restart doesn't send your password again.
Other network setups
If a module sits on another VLAN, map the device to its IP address in the advanced settings. Prefer the cloud only? Turn local control off there.

Keep it free

The plugin has no ads and no paid version. If it keeps your home comfortable, a boba or a small tip helps me keep up with changes to Panasonic's service and new Homebridge releases.

Boba is paid by card. No PayPal account needed.
